Something special and meaningful to me

Everyone has something that is meaningful and special for him or her. For me, this necklace has a lot of meaningful to me. When I was twenty years old, my mother gave it to me as a gift of my birthday. She told me this one would bring a lot of luck for me. She advised me that I should keep it all the time. This necklace was made from granitite that was cut small with diagonal prism shape, and it was whole of red color. In my country the red color is presented for luckiness. The hook of necklace was made by gold. My mother told me that this necklace was handmade and custom-made, and she ordered it from one of the traditional age-old jewelry shop. I could feel how special the necklace was. My mother said that she would like to give me something special for my birthday of twenty year old, for the time that I become adult and I can decide what I like to do.


At that day, I was really happy about the gift from my mother; the necklace with special value and meaningful to me. I try to where it as much as possible. Whenever I wear it, I feel that my mother is beside me to support my strength.
