Jane Eyre ( Book 2)


Jane Eyre is an novel by Charlotte Brontë, 1847 published London. It is one of the most famous of British novels. The novel was an immediate critical and popular success.

Jane Eyre is a poor young teacher who works fo the rich Mr Rochester. She loves him and wants to marry him. He also loves her too, but he has a secret which bring them great sadness. They were planing for a wedding to get marriage. And the wedding never happen because during the ceremony in the church, Mr. Mason declare that Rochester cannot marry Jane because his own wife is still alive. Rochester admits this fact, explaining that his wife is a violent mad woman whom he keeps imprisoned in the atticof his house. The wedding is cancelled, and Jane is heartbroken. So, Jane left Rochester and Thornfield Hall to travel as far away.

Finally, one day Jane went back to Thornfield to look for Mr Rochester. But she only saw a terrible house burned down in the midlde of night by Rochester's mad wife set the fire and then committed suicide by jumping from the roof. Rochester rescued the servants then he lost a hand and his eyesight in the process. Then, he lives in an isolated house called Ferndean. Going to Ferndean, Jane reunites with Rochester. At first, he fears that she will refuse to marry a blind cripple, but Jane accepts him without hesitation. Jane describes their married life as blissful.

It's a great love story and a special novel. I also watched a movie of this book few years ago. I would reccomend this book to my other friends.
