A Midsummer Night's Dream (Book Club)

A Midsummer Night's Dream
' 'A Midsummer Night's Dream" is one of Shakespeare's earlier plays. This book has twenty people in the play. But his main idea is talking about that two pairs of lovers-Lysander and Hermia, Demetrius and Helena. The king wants his daughter (Hermia) to marry with Demetriu. If Hermia does not marry with Demetriu, She will die. However, Hermia doesn't love Demetriu. She loves Lysander. So She decide to run away to escape from Demetriu with Lysander. They run into a fairyland wood outside Athens. Demetrius loves Hermia also. Helena loves Demetrius, but Demetrius does not love Helena. Helena tells Demetrius that Hermia escapes with Lysander in the fairyland wood outside Athens. So Demetrius catch them. Hermia and Lysander sleep in the wood when they tired. The puck put love juice in Lysander's eyes. The love juice has image power. When the person wake up, He see someone first. He will fall in love with this person. When Lysander wakes up, he sees Helena first, so Lysander falls in lover with Helena. The Puck put love juice in Demetrius' eye also, when he sleeps in the wood. When he wakes up, he sees Helena first also, so both of Lysander and Demetrius love Helena. That makes Helena confuse, and makes Hermia upset. Finally, Puck helps Hermia and Lysander again. Lysander marries with Hermia, and Demetrius marries with Helena. They find their really lover.
I like this story. This book is easy to read. When I read this book, it remind of me about women's marry looks like this story. The parents control daughter’s marriage in China one hundred years ago. I admire Hermia that She can escape his father. Now women can control their marriage. People can find their really lover.
