“Emergency Murder” is an exciting book. The setting of this book was one midnight on a hot July Sunday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The characters are Dr. Maxine Cassidy who worked at Mercy Hospital Emergency Room and Nanette Myer who was a wife of Dr. Maxine Cassidy’s friend, DR. Hank Myer. On that night, Nanette suddenly at the Emergency Room and felt sick and died. Maxine was her Doctor. Nanette was healthy, young and had no heart diseases history, but the reason of her death was a heart attack. Maxine was a researcher at Marquette University and was doing a medical research that was related with poison. Maxine and Nanette’s husband ordered an autopsy for Nanette to look for the real reason of her death. The autopsy showed that Nanette was poisoned. A detective doubted many friends who around Nanette, even her husband, especially Maxine. Finally, Maxine and the detective found the person who killed Nanette through a period. Nanette was killed by her friend, Virginia who worked in Marquette University, because Nanette found that Virginia lied about her new drug report.
I like this book so much because every chapter attracted me. I could not stop reading for a second before I did not finish this book, it was so interesting. I strongly recommend reading this book. There are few new vocabularies in this book. It is easy to understand this book.
